Chester's ideal home
Chester is a friendly and lovable four-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has stolen the hearts of everyone at the centre. He is looking for a home where any children are teens and his ideal location would be somewhere where he can go for peaceful rural walks. Chester finds it difficult to walk alongside bikes, scooters, runners etc. so must be kept on a lead and muzzled in public. If you have direct access to walks away from traffic or can take him to quiet areas, he is a sweet boy who walks nicely on a lead and makes friends with everyone. Chester would like his own private, fully secure garden and he is fine with being left for a few hours once he has settled in. Please note that Chester does suffer from allergies which will require ongoing management. If you rent your property, please ensure you have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.

Chester's previous foster carer describe Chester as very affectionate dog in the home and is an absolute delight. He is fully housetrained and sleeps soundly through the night. Chester came into us through no fault of his own and would love to get his paws back into a new forever home where he can soak up as much fuss from his family as possible. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
