About This Dog for Adoption

Zachary's ideal home

Zachary is a playful and happy boy who can live with children aged 16 and over with no visiting children as he can be worried by them. He would love a home with a private, secure garden to have his own space to relax and adopters to have the ability to separate him when needed. Zachary has met other dogs here but can be a little intense and is still learning how to play politely so will be best suited to be the only dog in the home. Although he hasn’t lived with cats he has said hello to them out and about so could potentially live with a dog savvy cat in his new home as long as adopters are happy to slowly introduce and he could also live with small furries. As he can be worried by big lorries/ trucks going past he would love a home that could walk him away from main roads.

Could you be Zachary's perfect match?

Meet Zachary, our 2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is looking for a new best friend to take him on lots of adventures and give him lots of fusses and cuddles. He travels well in the car, loves meeting new people, settles well when left and loves to play with his toys.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
