About This Dog for Adoption

Sasha's ideal home

Sasha is a sweet and loving girl who will need somebody at home for much of the time as she does struggle to be alone. Although she has come from a multi dog household she will need to be the only pet at home so that she can build her confidence, but she can live with children over the age of 12.

Could you be Sasha's perfect match?

Sasha has lived a fairly sheltered life before now and is now discovering lots of new places and situations that she can struggle at times to navigate. She really needs a patient and understanding new family who have plenty of time to spend with her building her confidence and showing her life's simple pleasures. Sasha just wants to be with somebody all of the time, and this can come across as a little OTT and boisterous at times so her new family will need to avoid encouraging her to jump up, instead teaching her that calm behaviour and all paws on the floor makes for much better fuss! Although Sash has been used to living with her mum and some siblings she has not had much experience of dogs outside of the home and can find meeting some a little worrying so will need to be the only pet for now with calm and sociable friends to help work on this. Sasha would make a wonderful companion for somebody who is looking for a full time shadow and who enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
