Cally's ideal home

Meet the adorable little Cally, who is the most delightful little Staffie! She has arrived with us as a stray so we don't know too much about her past. This means she will need help with settling into home life including mastering her housetraining and learning how to spend time home alone. Cally is full of love and snuggles and always greets her carers by wiggling over to them with a waggling tail. She has shown herself to be super friendly and fantastic for all her handling so Cally could share her home with any age children following a meeting here at the centre. She loves treats and in true Staffie style she is solar powered, so loves to spend time sunbathing and relaxing in the sunshine. We're currently still assessing Cally's interactions around other dogs, but she's been relaxed seeing them out on her walks. She will need to be the only pet for now however this may change in the future.

Cally is the most wonderful little lady and will bring so much love to her forever family. She does have some ongoing medical needs which will need to be monitored and managed in her forever home. These may limit things like her exercise levels. Our adoption team would be happy to talk you through Cally's needs.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
