About This Dog for Adoption

Hobbs's ideal home

Hobbs is a stunning young lad with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Full of energy and enthusiasm, he’s on the lookout for a fun, active home where he can join in on plenty of adventures.

He absolutely adores people and is always eager to make new friends — sometimes a little too eager! Hobbs is still learning his manners and can get a bit bouncy, but he’s making great progress and is quickly learning that keeping all four paws on the floor earns him lots of tasty rewards.

As we’re still getting to know Hobbs around other dogs, he’ll need to be the only pet in the home for now, though this could change as we learn more about him. We think he could live with confident children aged 6 and up, who are comfortable around lively, excitable dogs.

Hobbs arrived in our care with little previous history. Whilst he has been in a home previously he may still need a little refresh on his housetraining and we recommend any time being left is built up gradually once he's settled in.

Could you be Hobbs's perfect match?

Hobbs is the most adorable little boy who loves his food. He's learning lots of new things and is very eager to please. He always makes sure to tries his best (even if he gets a little too excited at times). If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, Hobbs might just be your perfect match!

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
