About This Dog

Joey's ideal home

Sadly, Joey had a very difficult start to life. Despite this, Joey still trusts and loves humans and dogs. Joey is a happy go lucky chap and would make a great addition to any household. He really enjoys playing with other dogs, a dog friend in the home would be lovely for Joey, although not essential.

Could you be Joey's perfect match?

Joey is a gorgeous Staffy cross with the biggest heart. Despite having a very difficult start in life, he's remained an incredibly loving, friendly boy who just wants someone to give him the chance he deserves.

He's fantastic with people and enjoys meeting other dogs, making him a wonderfully social companion. Joey loves affection and is ready to build a strong bond with a patient, caring family.

Joey is still learning that the world is a safe place. He can become overexcited or overwhelmed when having a lead, harness, or other equipment put on, so he'll need an adopter who is happy to continue his training gently and at Joey's pace. With consistency, kindness, and positive reinforcement, he's already showing so much potential.
