Casey
About This Dog
Casey's ideal home
Casey can live with children over the age of 14 and needs to be the only pet at home. She is house trained and can be left alone for four hours or so once she's settled in. Her immediate neighbourhood would ideally be free of cats.
Could you be Casey's perfect match?
Toy mad Casey stopped tolerating the neighbour's cat and took matters into her own paws so she has found herself in our care! She's a friendly girl who enjoys her walks, especially if she's squirrel spotting. Her adopters will need to be capable of keeping hold of Casey when she does spy anything small and furry because she's off! In the past Casey has lived with other dogs but she seems uncomfortable around unfamiliar ones so we're not prepared to rehome her alongside another right now. She is interested in greeting others but is very avoidant of smaller ones and is not too tolerant of anyone too enthusiastic. It would be nice for her to have some walking friends once she's settled in but attention should be paid to how she reacts to others and introduced appropriately. Given Casey's interest in small animals it would be advisable that she is kept away from any windows where she might spy them as she has barked through the window.
