About This Dog

Poppy's ideal home

Poppy would thrive in a calm and understanding home environment where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. A private, secure garden would allow her to enjoy outdoor time while having a space of her own, as she'll have to remain on lead out on her walks. She would be happiest as the only pet in the household, as she can be reactive around other dogs and would benefit from ongoing, training to help her progress. A quieter home would suit her best that can offer her a predictable routine. Poppy could live with upper secondary school–aged children.

Could you be Poppy's perfect match?

Poppy is a beautiful 1‑year‑old Staffy who has come a long way since her arrival with us. With time, patience and positive experiences, her confidence has grown, and she now enjoys the company of several friends that she loves spending time with. She settles very well in indoor environments and enjoys having a comfortable space to relax. Poppy absolutely loves her toys and can become delightfully scooty when she’s feeling playful. Food is a great motivator for her, and she shows enthusiasm when learning new things. Once a bond is formed, she is comfortable with handling and enjoys affection.
