About This Dog for Adoption

Rocky Staffy Cross's ideal home

Rocky is a two-year-old Staffie cross Terrier looking for a loving home. He would be best as the only dog in the home. He has no history living with cats, small furries or livestock. He could share his home with teenage children. Rocky is housetrained. He travels well in the car. He could cope with a reasonably busy household.

Could you be Rocky Staffy Cross's perfect match?

Rocky is a handsome lad, shy of new people initially, he likes to get to know you first, and then when you have his trust, you’ll find him to be playful and fun. He enjoys a game of tug, and he likes a game of fetch with you. Once he knows you, he is affectionate and enjoys a fuss and a snuggle. His favourite treat is cheese, and he knows a few tricks including a ‘sit’ and ‘paw’. Rocky is a keen walker; he walks faster than the average human and can be strong on his lead. He would benefit from learning to walk slower on his lead using positive reward training. Rocky prefers his walks in fields or the countryside so he can enjoy lots of sniffs. He is worried by the noise of loud motorbikes. When it comes to other dogs Rocky likes the company of some. He tends to prefer the females.
