About This Dog

Chi Chi's ideal home

Chi Chi is a friendly 2 year old Labrador x Staffy looking for a family to call her own.

She loves getting out on walks, meeting new people and making doggy friends. Food is definitely the way to her heart, and she'll do just about anything for a treat or her favourite red ball. After an adventure, she's more than happy to curl up on the sofa for a snooze.

Chi Chi is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time, as she isn't comfortable being left alone for long. In return, you'll have a fun, affectionate companion who'll bring plenty of love and smiles to your home.

If Chi Chi sounds like the perfect fit for your family, she'd love to meet you.

Could you be Chi Chi's perfect match?

Chi Chi is a lovely girl who's always happy to see people and is full of beans. She'll need an active home that can keep up with her energy and give her plenty to do. She already knows a few basic commands and is more than happy to show them off if there's a tasty treat involved!

One thing Chi Chi does struggle with is being left on her own. She can become worried when her people aren't around, so she'll need owners who are home for most of the day to start with. Any time left alone will need to be built up slowly and at a pace she's comfortable with. With a bit of patience and consistency, we're sure she'll continue to grow in confidence.

This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog.
