About This Dog for Adoption

Nigel's ideal home

Nigel is a 9-month-old bundle of energy looking for a special home that can keep up with his lively personality. He’s excitable, intense, and still learning how to manage his big feelings especially when meeting new people or dogs. He needs calm, confident guidance to help him feel secure and develop better impulse control. Nigel cannot be left alone yet and will need his alone time built up gradually with patience and consistency. He thrives in a structured environment with routine, positive reinforcement, and plenty of physical and mental stimulation.

Could you be Nigel's perfect match?

Nigel would suit an experienced adult-only home (children 16+) with a secure private garden where he can let off steam safely. He should be the only pet or live with a similar-sized, well-matched dog, as his greetings can be over the top. Nigel must remain on-lead in public spaces while he works on his focus and self-control. He’s not a dog for the faint-hearted, but with the right person, he has the potential to blossom into a fantastic companion. If you're ready to invest the time, energy, and love he needs, Nigel could be your perfect project.

Staffie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
