Buddy's ideal home

Buddy is looking for a home with a private garden, so he has a safe offlead area where he can mooch, chill and play. He would love to have a home where there is someone around most of the day, but it should be capable to build up some leaving hours slowly once he has settled in. Buddy is a friendly, well-rounded lad who could live with children of a primary school age.

We would love to rehome Buddy with his best friend Cleo but we understand that it is a big ask to take on two dogs. Therefore we will consider rehoming them separately to avoid them spending any longer in kennels than necessary.

Could you be Buddy's perfect match?

Buddy is a friendly and fun nine-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is always wagging his tail and enjoying life. He loves going on leisurely walks, where he enjoys sniffing and exploring. And when he is done adventuring outside, a comfortable spot for some rest and lots of fuss from people is a vital part of his day. Buddy enjoys walks with calm dog friends but can be worried by dogs who are too playful or in his face. He can also find it very distressing if you can see people but can't get to them, because everybody must make a fuss about him!

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
