About This Dog

Poppy's ideal home

Poppy is looking for a loving home where she can be the only dog and enjoy plenty of attention. She would like to live in a home where any children are of upper primary school age and would prefer a home without cats, though small furries can be kept separately. Following her recent experiences, Poppy would benefit from patient adopters who can help build her confidence around other dogs. She can be left for short periods once settled and will thrive in a home that can play fetch with her to her hearts content.

Could you be Poppy's perfect match?

Poppy is a wonderfully friendly 5 year old Staffie cross who has quickly become a favourite at the centre. She loves people, greeting everyone with a wagging tail, and absolutely adores playing fetch with her toys. Poppy enjoys her walks, travels brilliantly in the car, and takes treats gently. While she can be unsure around other dogs, she looks to her handler for reassurance. She’s a fun, loving, and loyal girl who will make a fantastic companion.
