About This Dog

Chunk's ideal home

Chunk is a handsome 10-month-old boy looking for a home that can continue building his confidence and enjoy all the fun of adolescence with him. He is a very friendly, happy lad who loves meeting new people and is always ready to say hello with a waggy tail and wiggly body. Chunk enjoys having a fuss from his handlers, playing with his toys, and sniffing around his environment exploring new sights and smells. He is confident meeting other dogs and is happy to greet them, although he is quite independent and often prefers to do his own thing afterwards. Chunk would be perfectly happy having canine walking buddies and enjoy being the only dog in the home. He has been great with handling at the centre and is simply an excitable young boy who is full of enthusiasm for life.

Could you be Chunk's perfect match?

Chunk is looking for a home with older, secondary school-aged children who are confident around dogs. He cannot live with cats or small furries. He has a medium energy level and would enjoy a good balance of walks, playtime, and opportunities to explore and sniff. Once settled, Chunk could be left for short periods, but initially he will need someone around to help him gradually build up his leaving hours and settle into home life. Chunk would suit adopters who are happy to continue his training and provide him with structure, enrichment, and plenty of affection. In return, he promises to be a loving, entertaining, and loyal companion.
