About This Dog

Oscar's ideal home

Meet gorgeous boy, Oscar! Oscar is a 1.5-year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for his forever home. Oscar is able to live with a well-rounded, tolerant dog that can match his playstyle. Oscar can live with children ages 8yrs+ that are confident around bouncy dogs and are sensible enough to give him space when he needs to chill. He can be a bit worried by new things and he is still building his confidence, but is doing really well and getting braver by the day!
Oscar is very food motivated and is very clever, so loves his training and puzzle games. He loves to play with his tuggy toys, and is very happy to share!
Oscar will do anything for a treat, and will also have a big cuddle on the sofa with his favourite people once he's had his funny five minutes of zooms! He walks well on lead but does pull at times, so will need some support with his loose lead walking skills. He travels well in the car, so will be a fantastic adventure buddy as he loves to get out for big sniffy explores!
Oscar would love a calm, patient family that are willing to give him time to build his confidence and learn that new environments don't have to be scary!

Could you be Oscar's perfect match?

Oscar is a gorgeous lad, who can be boisterous at times (typical Staffy boy!). He can be left for 4-6 hours with a break in his new home once this time has been built up as he settles nicely. He may need some reminding on his house-training but tries his best to keep his space clean.
He loves to get out and take in all the sights and smells, so would love an active family that are willing to keep him busy both mentally and physically, and he needs himself a back garden where he can get out and about when he feels like he needs it.
Oscar would love to have his own space while he's sleeping at the beginning, as he may be a bit overwhelmed by new things. But he does love a snuggle with his friends, so once comfortable, he'll be thinking he's a real lap dog!
We can't wait to see this gorgeous boy in his forever home, lapping up all the love he deserves.
