About This Dog

Milo's ideal home

Milo is an eight-year-old Pug cross looking for a loving home where he can enjoy life at his own gentle pace. He would like a quiet home environment with access to peaceful walking routes, where he can feel safe and relaxed. Milo would particularly benefit from having access to a garden, as he previously found it difficult when he didn’t have one. He will need to be the only pet in the home and have owners who are around for most of the day, as although he can be left alone for a couple of hours. Because his vision isn’t what it once was, he can sometimes pause and watch other dogs from a distance on walks to figure out what’s going on, but with calm introductions he can happily stroll alongside them. His adopters will just need to be cautious of other dogs startling him. Milo is used to being part of the family, including being allowed on the sofa and sleeping in the bedroom at night, and he would love a home where he can continue to share those cosy moments. Children could visit occasionally, but overall he would suit a quieter household that understands his need for a calm, predictable routine.

Could you be Milo's perfect match?

Milo is very affectionate, loyal and simply loves being close to his people. His favourite place in the world is curled up beside you on the sofa, soaking up cuddles and companionship. Although toys aren’t really his thing, Milo does enjoy getting out for gentle walks and exploring at a relaxed pace. At home, he’s a clean and well-mannered boy who is fully house trained and travels well in the car. He may occasionally bark if someone knocks at the door, but once they come in he happily greets them. Milo can sometimes be startled by sudden noises and isn’t keen on being restrained, so will need to be handled with care, understanding and a gentle approach. Milo forms a very close bond with his people, for someone looking for a devoted dog who will share the sofa and adore your company, he would make a loving little companion.
