Kirby's ideal home

Kirby is a handsome little 2 year old Staffie who has found himself in our care and is ready and waiting for his paw-fect forever home! Kirby is a little whirlwind of energy and loves to be out and about exploring and sniffing out lots of fun! Kirby is looking for patient adopters who can help continue his education. This will include all his basics including housetraining and learning how to settle when left home alone, which we recommend is gradually built up as he settles in. Kirby is a bouncy lad and hasn't quite mastered the art of "four paws on the floor" just yet so will need adopters willing to continue his positive training. He can get a little overwhelmed at times and can show mouthing and humping behaviours when he's having lots of big feelings. He's learning to redirect these feelings into more positive behaviours such as scent work and "find its" using enrichment. For this reason he would be best suited to a home with children 14+. Kirby has been making some doggy friends and whilst he's happy to socialise with polite dogs he would prefer to be the only pet in his new home.

Kirby is a wonderful boy with so much personality. He LOVES his food and we're sure this will really help when it comes to learning lots of new things. He's a super smart lad who we're sure will pick up new skills well. He would love an active home where he can enjoy adventures, lots of toys and lots of love!
