About This Dog

Rafferty's ideal home

Rafferty is a sweet 1 year old Staffie cross who has come into our care with little known about his previous history. He's been a little overwhelmed since arriving with us and is hoping to find patient and understanding adopters who can help him learn about the world. This sensitive boy can find new experiences a little scary and we're sure he'll blossom with lots of positive experiences and reinforcement as he explores the world. As we don't know if he's lived in a home before it's likely he may need some support as he settles in. This may mean guidance with things such as housetraining and learning how to settle and relax home alone, which we recommend is gradually built up. Rafferty could live with older, sensible children of 12+ who are understanding of his worries and give him any time and space he may need. We're currently still assessing Rafferty's interactions with other dogs so whilst he does need to be the only dog for now, this may change as we learn more about him.

Could you be Rafferty's perfect match?

Rafferty is a sweet boy who will know will flourish with patience and guidance. It would be ideal for him to have a safe and secure garden of his own where he could safely play and explore as he finds his paws.
