About This Dog for Adoption

Nya's ideal home

Hello, My name is Nya, I am a beautiful (so the humans say) Staffordshire Bull Terrier, I am just over two years old. I love human company. Actually I love lots of things, I love playing, I love chasing a ball, I love rope toys, I love treat balls, treats, making humans smile, I love belly rubs, long walks, short walks, any walks, I love going in the car – looking out of the windows in the car to see where our adventure takes us.

Could you be Nya's perfect match?

I sleep in my crate and you can add fluffy beds to the list of things I love, however I am better with vet bed to sleep on, as the urge to shake the fluffy bed just gets to much sometimes! (and they go puffft). I love to swim, so if you live near a lake or the sea that would be great, if not could we travel out to them regularly?
I am house trained, I know some commands such as sit, come, down, out, wait and I am always keen to please, so would love to continue training (for treats of course) with my new family. I have been very much loved in my home, I will be staying in my home until a Pawfect match is made. I will be ready to go home with my adopters on the day that you meet me at the centre near Penrith.

Staffie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.

View the full Staffie buyers checklist for more information, plus the buyers guide for more advice on giving a puppy a new home.
