About This Dog for Adoption
Sox's ideal home
Meet Sox, a lovely 11-month-old crossbreed who is full of energy and love, and she’s on the lookout for a fun, active home where she can truly thrive.
Sox is housetrained and as she adores being around her favourite people, she may need a little support adjusting to spending time alone. She’s an affectionate, sweet-natured girl who absolutely loves cuddling on the sofa and proudly considers herself a lap dog!
Sox would prefer to be the only pet in her forever home, but she could benefit from regular socialization with calm, friendly dogs to help her build confidence and learn how to make new friends. She’s eager to learn and would really thrive with adopters who can guide her through all the exciting things the big wide world has to offer.
One of Sox’s absolute favorite things? Toys! She’s happy to play with just about anything she can get her snoot into.
We believe Sox could live with children aged 12 and up who are confident around lively, playful dogs.
Could you be Sox's perfect match?
If you're ready for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger love for toys and snuggles, Sox might just be the perfect addition to your family. This dog is currently being rehomed under our Home Stay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when the ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Home Stay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with the owners to minimised the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative dog.
