About This Dog for Adoption

Arlo's ideal home

Lovely Arlo is a happy and lively lad who is ready to start the search for his forever home. He's arrived with us as a stray so we don't know much about his previous history but since coming into our care he has been a pleasure to care for. He's very clean in his kennel however may still need some help with housetraining as he settles into home life. Arlo could live with children 6+ who are confident around bouncy dogs. We recommend any time being left is built up gradually leaving him with things to keep him busy. Arlo's favourite thing in the world is toys! He loves to play fetch, raggy or just spending time playing with his carers. He loves soft toys too, but they often don't last too long! We're currently still assessing Arlo's interactions with other dogs so he will need to be the only pet for now however this may change in the future.

Could you be Arlo's perfect match?

Arlo loves being active and being on the go, so would love an active home where he can enjoy lots of adventures. He is a super sweet boy who greets everyone he sees with a happy and waggy tail.

Staffie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
