Gracey is looking for a fun and active home with a family who want a snuggle bug of a companion. Gracey is a busy girl, which means she can sometimes be a bit boisterous and excitable, so she would like to live with children aged 13 years or older who are confident around dogs but understand when to give her space. Gracey doesn’t enjoy dogs in her face, and can get worried by this, so needs to be the only dog in the home, but could have calm walking buddies. She loves to show off her excellent ‘sit,’ and would benefit from a home willing to do some fun training with her. When being left, whilst she is relaxed, she didn’t settle here at the centre, so adopters could leave her for 1-2 hours if built up slowly. Gracey will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
