Duchess's ideal home

Duchess is looking for an active, physically and mentally stimulating home, with adopters who have the time to provide her with the training and attention she needs, she would like a home in a quieter location. She can live with children aged 14 years and over who can play nicely with her and who will give her space to rest when needed. Duchess could live with a calm and relaxed dog who can tolerate her energy and playfulness, this is not a necessity though, she would be happy with friendly walking buddies who will let her approach on her terms. She cannot live with cats or other small furries. Duchess has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, she is a very smart girl and is keen to learn more with the help of a tasty treat. She will need housetraining in her new home so access to a private, secure garden with 6 foot fencing is required. She may be able to be left alone for up to 1-2 hours once settled in but this should be introduced slowly once she has had time to get used to her new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so she can relax and have a snooze! Duchess will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home, so please bear this in mind before applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Playful and energetic girl Duchess is a 3 and a half year old Staffy Cross with a lot to say about the world. She is such a fun pup who loves to chase toys around, she loves a treat and will take them gently from the hand. She will happily approach for a fuss when she fancies, she doesn’t hang around for long as she is an independent girl who prefers playtime to cuddle time. This Lovely lass is looking for her forever home.
