Piper's ideal home
Piper would like a home as the only pet in an adult only home. She is house trained but not used to being alone for more than an hour or so.

Piper is an energetic and playful girl who is toy mad. She is finding the kennel environment worrying but settles well when it's quiet on the block. Piper gets super excited when her handlers go to her kennel but can react if strangers approach. She is an anxious girl who has reacted towards strangers on walks before and takes a few meets to get used to new people, however we have found she is much more comfortable with women than men. Piper loves to get out for walks but finds it hard to relax in this environment, her favourite place to go is our training barn where she loves to run around with some stuffy toys. When it comes to other dogs, Piper can be worried and will stare at them and react if not distracted by her handler but she responds well to focus training. We've managed to get her walking nearby some other dogs at the centre but Piper does not appreciate close interaction with dogs, and shouldn't be forced into anything she is uncomfortable with.
