About This Dog

Teddy's ideal home

Teddy is looking for a home where he can be the only pet and where any children are of a high school age. He is fully house trained, although he may initially scent mark in a new environment, and has been good when left alone for a couple of hours.

Could you be Teddy's perfect match?

Teddy is a happy lad who has no sense of personal space when cuddles are on offer! He loves his walks and can be strong on lead when something interesting has captured his attention so his new family will need to be confident in handling his strength at times. Ted enjoys playing and can get very enthusiastic for a game of tug, but once he has had enough he will take himself off to keep his toy to himself and he should always be allowed the space to do this or encouraged to trade for something else. He is happy to politely greet some well mannered dogs but would prefer to keep his distance from anyone too OTT, and will need to be the only dog at home with some calm walking friends. He travels well and would make a great travel companion for somebody who likes getting out and about.

This is a beautiful female staffy-cross who has been residing with me since Christmas. Having arrived as a stray at the veterinary practice I work in, and knowing many rescue centres near us will euthanise after seven days, she was far too special to suffer that fate. As a team, we have invested a lot of energy building her trust, and she has really come out of her shell
