About This Dog

Stella's ideal home

Stella is a confident, curious six-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Lurcher cross who loves getting out and exploring. She adores people, enjoys playing with her toys and is a big fan of trick training. Friendly with everyone she meets, Stella loves to stay busy and will need an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation. She also enjoys travelling in the car, making her a great companion for adventures and days out. A secure garden is essential to help her burn off some of her puppy energy.

Could you be Stella's perfect match?

Stella enjoys meeting other dogs but would prefer a calm, sensible canine companion rather than a boisterous playmate, so she could live with another dog who isn't too OTT. She could live with secondary-school-aged children, as she is still displaying typical puppy behaviours such as play biting. Stella can become bored easily, which may lead to unwanted behaviours, so any time left alone will need to be introduced very gradually. Her new family will need to be committed to her training, provide plenty to keep her occupied and help her develop into a happy, well-mannered adult dog.
