Arnie's ideal home
If you're looking for a velcro dog and a devoted companion, Arnie could be the one for you. This lovable 8-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a true cuddle monster who loves being part of everyday life. Whether he's snuggled up beside you on the sofa or following you from room to room, he's happiest when he's near his people. Arnie does have some ongoing medical requirements, which our veterinary team will be happy to discuss with potential adopters. He would like to be the only pet in his new home, although he can enjoy the company of other dogs when out on walks. He can become a little overexcited when meeting visitors, which may result in some mouthing. Because of this, he's looking for a home with dog-savvy secondary school-aged children. He has already made great progress with this. Arnie can be left for a couple of hours.

While he enjoys getting out and about on his walks, Arnie is equally talented at relaxing. Don't expect an early start from this boy – he's a fan of lazy mornings and is more than happy to head straight back to sleep after a trip into the garden. When he's awake, one of his favourite pastimes is watching the world go by from the window. If there’s a good spot available, he’ll happily settle there and keep an eye on everything happening outside. He also enjoys a good game with his toys, especially a strong rubber toy. Above all, though, people are his favourite thing in the world. If you have space on your sofa and plenty of cuddles to give, Arnie would love to meet you.
