About This Dog

Midnight's ideal home

Midnight is a 7 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help her settle into her new home. She has never been in a home before so will need some time to find her paws with home life. She is a friendly girl who loves people, she can be nervous and would be worried by fast movements, loud noises or overhandling and so would be best suited to a home where any children are of Older Primary School age (8+) and can be understanding of this. Midnight can be worried but gains a lot of confidence from being with another dog and is looking to a join a home with a confident dog that can help show her the ropes and build her confidence. She can be quite full on with her playstyle so any dog must be a good match for her interaction style. Due to never being in a home before, Midnight will need someone with her the majority of the time initially, once settled, leaving hours will need to be gradually built up at a pace she is comfortable with. She will need her own secure garden so she has a safe space to play in and explore while she builds confidence with the outside world.

Could you be Midnight's perfect match?

Midnight was born in a kennel environment and so has not experienced much of the world. She is inquisitive but often requires reassurance when she is worried. She will need help learning the basics, including housetraining and will need some general confidence building in her new home including building confidence around car travel so would like to have direct access to walks from her new home to remove the pressure for car travel straight away. Midnight is such a delightful girl and will make a wonderful addition to a family willing to give her the extra time she needs to settle into her new home.
