About This Dog

Luna's ideal home

Sweet little softie Luna is a 1 year old Shepherd cross Staffy with a thirst for adventure! She loves to get out and about exploring and being active, her favourite game is a round or two of tuggy with her raggy toy, she likes to bound around after toys that are thrown for her. She adores cuddles and has no boundaries when it comes to snuggles on the sofa, she will give you nudge if you stop stroking. This beautiful girl is ready to find her new home.

Could you be Luna's perfect match?

Luna is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean but can be playful and clumsy, so could live with secondary school children who are confident with bouncy dogs, who will play nicely with her and give her space to rest when she needs. Luna can be a little worried by other dogs at first and would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have all of the attention to herself, she would be happy with playful and confident walking buddies who will let her approach at her pace initially. She is a clever girl and already has some tricks under her belt, she can be encouraged to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. She would like a home with a private or communal garden to have a potter around and play in. Luna can settle in the home as long as she has some enrichment and a comfy bed to keep her busy, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Luna will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
