About This Dog

Keano's ideal home

Keano is a two-year-old Staffie with a zest for life! He’s looking for a home that can offer him a secure garden, plenty of company and a commitment to ongoing training. Keano’s love of food makes him a brilliant candidate for positive, reward-based training, and he’ll benefit from guidance with his lead manners and housetraining. He’s very easy going so could live in a city centre, as he is friendly with other dogs, people and relaxed around traffic. He’d enjoy socialising with other dogs outside and he may be able to share his home with calm cats following a careful introduction. With his friendly nature, he could also live with primary school-aged children and would be happy in a home that welcomes visitors. As Keano is a young energetic boy, he’ll need adopters who enjoy long walks and plenty of exercise.

Could you be Keano's perfect match?

Full of character, Keano is a sweet, easy-going boy who greets life with a wagging tail. He enjoys a little fuss on his terms, often popping over for a stroke before wandering off in search of his next snack - as there is nothing he loves more than food! On walks, he loves to explore the world through his nose and may pull a little in his excitement to say hello to people or investigate something interesting, but he’s manageable and motivated to learn. Keano happily interacts with other dogs out and about, and he approaches new people with friendly enthusiasm. With his big heart, love of treats and infectious happy energy, Keano could be a fun and rewarding companion for someone ready to help him grow into his best self.
