Dougie needs to be the only dog at home although he can walk with others. He is fully house trained and can be left alone for a couple of hours once he's settled in.

Lovely Dougie looks the shy and retiring type but don't be fooled. Behind that slightly bewildered expression is a very playful young chap who just loves fuss and attention and he just adores being with his favourite people. He can be a little wary of new people and doesn't like them to get in his face, he'll turn away and become avoidant of interaction so his family will need to keep that in mind. Dougie can get a bit daft when he's playing and becomes excited easily, so we have to make sure to keep him just calm enough that he doesn't involve us too much in his zoomie-ing. He seems interested in introducing himself to other dogs but seems to lack the confidence to interact beyond that, and becomes conflicted and unsure of what to do. Some calm, confident friends that don't push him would be nice for walkies once he's home, helping him feel more secure in his doggy hellos.
