Cookie is a two-year-old female dog who is confident, excitable, and full of personality. She loves meeting new people and dogs and can be very enthusiastic in her greetings, so she will need an owner who is happy to continue her training and help her learn calm manners when saying hello. She is food-motivated and keen to learn, which will help with training, but she does have a high prey drive and therefore cannot live with cats or small furries. Cookie can jump high and will easily reach surfaces, so a secure home environment and good management are important. She could live with another playful dog (neutered) and with children aged 11 and over who understand her exuberance.

Cookie is a high-energy dog who will thrive in an active home where she gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive interaction. She would suit adopters who enjoy training, play, and ongoing engagement with their dog. Cookie can be left for short periods once settled, but she is not suited to being left alone for long hours on a regular basis and would benefit from company, enrichment, or a canine companion.
