About This Dog for Adoption
Carter's ideal home
Wiggly and happy boy Carter is a 1 and a half year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who always has a cheeky grin on his face. He adores bounding around after his toys and playing an epic game of tuggy with his favourite people. He absolutely loves a cuddle and will put his head on your shoulder for a good snuggle, he likes back and bum scratches and can get a little overexcited and wiggly by fusses at times. This happy chappy is looking for his new family, could it be you?
Could you be Carter's perfect match?
Carter is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and give him all of the love and care he deserves. He is a friendly bean who can live with older primary school children who understand that he can be a bouncy boy and a little clumsy when excited, children who can play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Carter likes to have all of the attention to himself so is looking to be the only pet in the home, although he would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies. Carter is a clever boy and has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, he is eager to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat for encouragement. Carter would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about and explore in although this is not a necessity. Carter can settle in the home as long as he is left with some enrichment to keep him busy, so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Carter will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
