About This Dog for Adoption

Russell's ideal home

Russell is a 10 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier X. He is looking for a fairly active family that can help him find his feet in his new home and help teach him the basics. Russell loves other dogs and could join a home with an existing dog pending meets at the centre, he can be a little OTT in his playstyle so a canine companion would need to be a good match for this. He could live with children of older secondary school age (13yrs +) as he is still very much a puppy with his behaviour and can jump up and mouth when excited. Russell would like a garden of his own to help with toilet training and to provide an outlet for play to burn off some energy.

Could you be Russell's perfect match?

Russell came into us with very limited background information having been found as a stray. We have found him to be a happy boy who loves spending time with people and dogs and especially loves a game of tuggy! Due to his age, Russell will need someone at home with him the majority of the time to help him settle in and any leaving hours will need to be built up gradually. This delightful boy will make a wonderful addition to a calm home happy to help teach him the basics in a positive reward based way.
