Ron's ideal home

Please meet our gorgeous Ron! A 6 month old Staffy looking for his forever home. Ron is looking for a home where there MUST be another confident resident dog that he can learn from. Ron is incredibly worried boy in kennels and is very shut down. Ron comes to life when he is introduced to another dog, and learns so much from them - as well as gains a brilliant amount of confidence from them. He will be looking for a home where all children are 16yrs+ as he is so worried. He can be left for 1-4 hours eventually, but this must be built up gradually in the home. Ron is an incredibly sweet boy, who has not had a good start in his life. He comes around with time, and he really does want to interact and be near you, but he would benefit from a quiet home while he builds up his confidence. He will need help with the basics - walking on lead, coping alone, living in a home environment. His family would need to be patient and happy to offer him reassurance and training to help him become the best he can be.

Ron needs a family that are experienced with nervous dogs, allowing him to have his space when he needs it. Ron is sensitive to loud noises and quick movements, and finds small things quite overwhelming. He has such potential to be an incredibly boy; he just needs the help of a resident dog to give him that extra boost of confidence. All Ron really wants is a lap to curl up in and a warm, safe home. He has no interest in toys as of yet, so hopefully his new doggy friend(s) can show him the ropes with this too.
