About This Dog for Adoption

Milo's ideal home

Milo can live with kids of high school age but will need to be the only dog as currently lacks a lot of social skillls. We have no history for him and cannot guarantee that he is house trained or used to being left alone.

Could you be Milo's perfect match?

Milo is a cracking young dog who is full of energy and fun and just wants to have a good time! He's happiest when he's out and about nosing about the centre and although he does bark at other dogs, he doesn't dislike them. Milo has mixed with a few dogs but he lacks a lot of social skills and there's too much going on here for him to focus. His new family will find that once he's settled at home he is likely to be a little more calm and easier to introduce to some walking chums. Milo has been working with his handlers and focuses very well with a few tasty titbits as a reward. He's great with people but can get a little over excited when being handled, and we're working on keeping his feet on the floor, rather than in our faces! Milo is an instant best pal to everyone and was so giddy over meeting the vet that it made his initial examination very tricky! He's only a year or so old so we'll excuse his youthful enthusiasm whilst we set him in the right path to becoming a wonderful adult dog. We know nothing of Milo's background so we recommend that he isn't left alone for long initially, and that some basic training is put in place from the start. He's an absolutely super young dog who is going to make a family very happy indeed.
