Okko's ideal home

Okko is looking for a chilled out home with adopters who can take him on lots of mini adventures and gentle strolls, and give him all the care and attention he deserves. He can live with children aged 6 years and over who can play nicely with him and who will give him space to rest when needed. Okko could live with another dog who will happily co-exist and will engage in some occasional play, this is not a necessity however, he would be happy with some friendly walking buddies. He has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “paw” and is keen to learn more in short and sweet sessions for a tasty treat. He will need housetraining in his new home so a private, secure garden is needed. Okko settles well alone so could be left for up to 4 hours, this will need to be built up gradually after he has had time to settle into his new home. Okko is currently on daily medication for his skin, he will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home, so please bear this in mind before applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Chilled and loveable Okko is a 6 year old Staffordshire bull Terrier with a real love of human companionship. If he catches you sitting on the floor he will be in your lap in seconds, he loves a fuss and will lean and rub against you for more, he may even give you kisses if you are lucky. He is a fun lad and will pass you toys to play with, he especially likes a game of tuggy. He is a foody boy and takes treats gently from the hand, he is not fussy on the type of treat. This little house hippo is looking for his new home.
