About This Dog for Adoption

Rocky's ideal home

Rocky is looking for quiet home with a private secure garden where he can explore and stretch his legs, he would like to be the only dog in the home but would love to continue to meet dogs out on walks to help build his confidence. Rocky needs a home where any children are 16+ and sensible, giving Rocky space when needed. He would prefer a quiet home with adopters who are around most of the time and can separate him from the front door when visitors come over. Rocky will need to be kept on lead when out and about and will require patient and understanding adopters who are happy to continue building his confidence and exposing him to the world at his own pace.

Could you be Rocky's perfect match?

This is Rocky, our five-year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with the heart of a champion! Just like his namesake, he is loving, loyal and always ready to go the distance… especially if there is cheese involved. He loves adventures, toys and making new doggy friends. Rocky is our own Paw-lboa of playtime and is just looking for his forever corner team so if you are looking for a best friend with heart, personality and a whole lot of love then he is ready to go the distance!

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Staffie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
