About This Dog for Adoption

Kira's ideal home

Kira is a 6 year old, German Shepherd X Staffie and she is the most beautiful lady inside and out! She is looking for a home where she gets all the attention, walks and playtime with her family. Kira loves to play ball games but also benefits from quieter mental stimulation games, to make her brain work as hard as her body like when playing fetch. She thoroughly enjoys going out for long walks and walks beautifully on lead. Kira is an active lady who is a social butterfly with people and she has the potential to be social with other dogs too, though will need continued help from her new family with making new doggy pals as she can be reactive around other dogs at times. Whilst in our care Kira is spending her time in the home of one of a loving foster carers, where they say she is a super house guest, being housetrained and travels well in the car. Initially, Kira liked to always be around her foster carer and preferred not to spend time alone, though with time Kira is learning that being alone is ok and hopefully once settled into her forever home she could be built up to being left for a couple of hours on her own.

Could you be Kira's perfect match?

Kira's ideal home would be;
+ Someone who is around a lot of the time to keep her company throughout the day
+ A household where she can be the only pet in the home
+ A home with children aged 8 years and older, who would are used to large, bouncy pooches
+ A secure garden where she can have zoomies and then sunbathe till her heart is content
+ And finally a sofa to curl up on with a family to call her own

If you feel Kira could be your 'pawfect' match - pop your application in today and add her to your favourites list now!
