About This Dog for Adoption

Connie's ideal home

Connie is a one-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a loving home with adult adopters. She is looking to be the only dog in the home, and she will need a home without cats or small furries. Connies’ adopters will need to be patient, understanding and compassionate as she is a sensitive girl who worries about interacting with new people. She is seeking a quieter home environment where she does not have to worry about too many visitors to the home. She seems to be more worried of men and has an introduction plan in place to meet new people. She will need access to quieter walks and slow introductions to the world. Connie is happy to travel in the car. She will be lots of fun in a home with the right setup.

Could you be Connie's perfect match?

Connie is full of fun and character. She loves to play with toys and enjoys a game of fetch. She has been doing well with making new doggy pals here at the rehoming centre. She lacks social skills and probably did not learn basic introduction skills as a pup. Connie is a blank canvas with her basic training, she loves treats and is currently practicing name response and focus work with positive reward training. She is learning to wear a muzzle as a good skill to have. As Connie begins to trust people more, she likes a fuss and affection.
