About This Dog for Adoption

Malteser's ideal home

Meet Malteaser, a sweet and shy 4-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is looking for a loving, patient home to help him build his confidence and grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be! Malteaser is a little nervous around new people, but with time and care, he’ll form strong bonds with those he trusts. He will need to be the only dog at the moment whilst he works on learning how to make doggy friends and would really benefit from ongoing socialisation. Malteaser will need some basic puppy training, as well as gentle guidance to help him become more confident around unfamiliar situations and people. A quiet, calm environment with owners who understand the importance of slow introductions and positive reinforcement will be ideal for him. He could share his new home with children 12+ following a meeting here at the centre.
