Chewey's ideal home

Chewy is looking for a home with an active lifestyle, where he will have a lot of opportunities to explore regularly. His new home will have multiple people within the household to share the love around. Chewy would love a home with a nice garden, this could be private or communal. Because Chewy is a big boy, he would be better suited to living with children of secondary school age, but we might consider younger children if they have good experience living with larger dogs. Chewy will need leaving hours slowly built up over time and once he has settled in. He could live with another calm dog pending successful meets at the centre.

Chewy is a five-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was handed over to us from another organisation. He is a loveable boy who enjoys the company of his friends both dogs and people. Chewey wouldn’t mind a busy lifestyle as long as he is around his favourite people. He has made some dog friends whilst in our care but can get a little overwhelmed by some dogs if they are a little over-excited and won't give him a break. Chewey loves to snuggle up in cosy blankets and beds and would benefit from a nice safe space area to take himself off too when he would like a snooze. He enjoys adventuring when out and about and loves to play with toys.
