About This Dog for Adoption

Blue's ideal home

Beautiful Blue is a 1 and a half year old Staffy cross with a huge personality that is sure to brighten your day. He is bursting at the seams with pure love, and his favourite thing to do is snuggle up on the sofa with his favourite people, having plenty of snuggles! Blue loves a sniffy adventure in the woods, and enjoys exploring when out and about, so a home with quiet walking areas away from too many dogs would be perfect. Do you have the home Blue is looking for?

Could you be Blue's perfect match?

Blue is looking for a quiet home with understanding adopters who can work closely with our behaviour team to help Blue transition from kennel life into a loving home. His new family would need to be all adults due to his anxieties, and he would also need to be the only dog in the home. He can be initially worried by new people, so a home with minimal visitors to begin with would be best whilst Blue settles in. Blue would benefit from having his own private and secure garden, so he can run about and chase his toys to his hearts content and burn off his young staffy energy! Once he has settled into his new home, Blue could be left for a couple of hours, although this would need to be built up gradually with plenty of positive reinforcement. Blue will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home with potential home visits to make sure he is settling in well so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
