About This Dog for Adoption

Albie's ideal home

Albie is a young boy who has already been through quite a lot, and so is looking forwards to a fresh start. He is really playful and friendly when he knows you, but can be very worried of new faces, both doggy and human. For this reason he’s not going to be one to live with young kids, but teenagers would be fine as long as they’re sensible and will listen to Albie. He loves to play and, once introduced, poochy pals help his confidence. He could live with another dog, and would likely find this beneficial as support.

Could you be Albie's perfect match?

Albie is 9 months old and came into our care through another charity. Underneath his initial insecurities he’s a beautiful, big, bouncy boy and can’t wait to show this to his family. We don’t really know much about what he’s like in a home, and he’s only young, so he’ll need a helping hand with all the basic training, including housetraining. Albie struggles being left here, so is ideally looking for a home where someone is around all the time to begin with, and that can then build up any left alone time gradually.
