About This Dog for Adoption

Mabel's ideal home

Mabel is a young girl looking for a home that will help guide her through her adolescence. She is friendly and a really cuddlebug, but she does have some worries. When she gets overwhelmed she can also be very over-the-top and bouncy. As this sometimes results in some grabbing any children in the home should be older. Teenagers would be fine as long as they’re happy with her! Mabel can live with dogs that can match her playstyle and energy. This would be subject to a successful mix in centre prior to rehoming. Mabel has lived in a home with cats before and could potentially do so again, pending a scent swap and with gradual introductions.

Could you be Mabel's perfect match?

Mabel is an 11month-old Staffy Cross who came into our care due to her over-the-top behaviours. She is a sweetheart who loves toys and snuggles. Mabel would love a home who would take her on nice walks, play with her and then cuddle up on the sofa at the end of the day. As she’s such a youngster things like time left alone and car travel will need work. However she really does try to remain housetrained in kennels, so does have some of the basics in place. With a loving and understanding family who can build her confidence she will no doubt make a loving addition to a home.
