Smudge's ideal home

Super Smudge is an absolute delight who has found herself in our care after being found as a stray. She will need a patient family who are able to teach her all she needs to know including housetraining and learning how to be left alone which we recommend is done gradually. Smudge loves her toys, especially a soft teddy and is often found out on her walkies carrying her favourite ones. She has been making some doggy friends and learning how to socialise, but isn't quite ready to share her home with another dog yet. She could however having doggy walking friends out and about. Smudge isn't a big fan of intense handling so she is learning to wear a muzzle for when she sees the vet, which of course means lots of tasty treats which she loves! Smudge is a big girl and can be strong on the lead, so has been practising her loose lead walking which will need to be continued. She could share her home with children 11+ who are confident around larger, bouncy dogs.

Smudge has been a pleasure to care for, but often forgets her size when she's seeking out snuggles! She's hoping to find a sofa all of her own and her own garden to play and explore in. We have sought expert advice and we do not believe that the dog named above would be considered an American Bully XL type. Sadly, Smudge has had their ears cropped. This is illegal in the UK, and we absolutely do not condone it. We hope we can find Smudge a loving home.
